REWRITE YOUR STORY

DISCOVER WHAT IS POSSIBLE

The sole purpose of our Weekends is to assist you in realising your greatest potential as a loving, coherent family.

We take that journey together by identifying and getting to the core of lifestyle choices, family obstacles and even intergenerational traumas which may have prevented you from living that very potential.

With intentionally created immersive games, effective practises and collaborative group and roundtable exercises for the whole family, you'll bring clarity to your true desires and priorities, as well as what you are truly capable of achieving.

CREATE YOUR IDEAL LIFE

At Home In The World Family Weekends are here to help you create your own roadmap of daily practical actions, that when practiced together with your family, will strengthen your bonds, creating a brighter, joyful, more connected way of life.

WHAT FAMILIES HAVE EXPERIENCED

JENNIFER, KALIN & TAI

Before, Mum and I were always getting into arguments. Then during the retreat our relationship starting getting more open, and we started sharing ideas and love. Now mum and I and my brother are really close. I'm so happy we went.

SKYE-MARIE

We left home looking for a new way of living. Then we found your retreat.

Just a mind blowing reset of what's possible. It's big for us, definitely a pivot moment.

TRYNTSJE

I really loved all the sessions. The Intuition Game was magical with the answers that we got showing us how intuitive we all are.

It was the perfect balance of learning mixed with fun games so we could all participate.

We believe families are the essential and core foundations for coherent, self-sustaining communities of the future.

We cannot hope to create a better world for ourselves and our children if we ourselves are not coherent. What better place to practice building that than within the safe and loving bounds of the family unit?

It's time to take a unique, family centric approach to identifying and addressing our needs as families, empowering us to realise our visions through the power of self-determination.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Families seeking to deepen their connections, ask the big questions and address past traumas weighing them down.

Families who are no longer satisfied by the shallow waters of life, who are seeking the bounties of what the depths can offer them.

Families looking to foster a deep source of empathy and neutrality in order to nurture loving relationships and provide an ongoing space for themselves and all their descendants to learn and grow together.

WHY CHOOSE US?

Because we have lived and continue to practice what we seek to share with you.

Our life as a family changed when we decided to take our destiny into our own hands and no longer live a life on autopilot.

We would like to share with you key experiences and learnings that benefited us and helped us realise that living the life of our dreams was always possible, right now.

On a cold Winter's day in 2009, we made a conscious choice to change the story we were living.

That story was an 80+ hr work week, two children in school with endless after-school activities, and a house with a crushing mortgage.

Underneath all the noise of Society, which told us that this separate, divided existence was the pinnacle of a healthy, normal family life, we somehow knew that this was not the life we were meant to be living.

Our first step to creating our own definition of coherence was to let everything we'd seemingly built go. We sold the house, decided to experiment with Homeschooling for a year, and used our savings to take a 6 month roadtrip around Australia.

More than 15 years later, the story we chose to write together as a family has taken us to over 50 countries on 6 continents.

Our two 'world-schooled' children have grown, with our son now the creator of his own travel business, and our daughter an acclaimed published author.

However, there were many days where we wondered if the financial instability and all around uncertainty of the new life we had chosen was worth it, even if that life was filled with exploring many corners of the world along the way.

But it was exactly these travels that shone an inescapable light on the ever-encroaching harmful ways that stress, overwork, overcommitment and societal narratives are taking families in separate directions, and causing harm and disintegration to the health and well-being of families everywhere.

COVID19 has also demonstrated, now more than ever, why families need to seek their own, more viable and cohesive and communal ways of living and working together. And if we learned anything in over a decade of living in cramped spaces on the road, wrestling with the internet, (and each other — four very strong personalities all working in wildly different career spaces to make ends meet) it's that.

At Home In The World Family Retreats is our shared family brainchild.

All four of our hearts and all four pairs of our hands working together to create a space where you and your family can come to breathe easy again.

Where you can press pause on all that incessant babble out there telling you what your family should look like, act like, behave like, be like.

This family-centric retreat experience is created for you by us, a family who can empathise with exactly what you’re going through, and wants to help you reconnect with the story you know you’re meant to be living in this life.

And the secret is, you’re not meant to do it alone. You never were.

Your family is a super-power like no other in the world. A power our modern societies actively seek to dismantle.

But when families come together to learn, work and live in a manner that is coherent and authentic to them, the world changes from the inside out.

By showing up for our own inner worlds first, we become at home with ourselves, which leads to being at home with our families, which in turn leads to being at home in the world, no matter where you live.

This is the essence of what we have to share, in-person at our At Home In The World Family Retreats and online at Museley, our online, social networking hub.

We see your commitment to your family and your bravery in wanting to choose a life that is in alignment with your needs.

We’re so glad you're here and we’re so excited to travel this next phase of your family journey together.

-George, Bobi, Réka & Lalika

This happens one day, one action, one step at a time.

How do I book?

FAQ'S

Fill in the Pre-Registration Form here to start your journey towards your At Home In The World Family Weekends experience.

What does the registration process look like?

Once you have filled out your Pre-Registration Form and paid the deposit to secure your family's spot, we will be in touch directly to schedule a one-on-one Pre-Retreat call.

This is a necessity, as we want to make sure that attending an At Home In The World Family Weekend is the right next step for you, and that you're also a fit for our program.

During the first 10 mins of our call, we will ask you a few questions to ascertain and determine the best way we could work together and then during the last 10 mins of our call, you can ask us any questions to see also if this is in alignment with your journey.

If we both feel we're on the same page, we will send you the details to make your final payment, and you will be fully booked to attend on your selected weekend.

How many families can attend a Retreat at once?

To maintain the intimacy of the event, we limit family spaces to a maximum of 4 attending families during one Retreat Weekend.

If you wish to attend our retreat with another family who are friends or family of yours, please make note of this in your Pre-Registration Form.

Can young children attend?

Yes!
If your children are younger, (2-9) they can join our dedicated children's program.
If your children are 9 and up, tweens, teens, or adults, they can join you together in the adult program.

Of course for any children younger than 2, we understand that it is a case-by-case basis with specifics unique to each family.
We are here to help support you in any way that enables you to have the most comfortable and ease filled experience together with your infant.

What is the children's program?

Our Weekends come complete with integrated adult and children learning experiences.
This means that the content that we share with you as adults, will be shared with younger children, only in a more playful, fun and natural way, designed specifically to engage your child's imagination and sense of adventure.

While much of the time will be spent learning together as a whole family, there will be sessions that consist of dedicated games and workshops that track the exact themes of transformation, empowerment and collaboration that we will be exploring in our adult program, tailored for the children to enjoy and connect to.

Nothing is ever watered down, you children are treated with the same respect and care that you, as an adult, will be treated with.

Where and when are the Retreats held?

At Home In The World Family Weekends are held on a beautiful secluded property 5 mins outside of Bowral in the heart of the Southern Highlands in New South Wales.
